Riffa, November 30, 2021 / Under the patronage of Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) President Mohammed Abdullatif bin Jalal, the Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) organized the first meeting of Faisal bin Khalid Talent Academy in the presence of Khalid Mubarak Al Doseri, Vice President of BAA and President of the Academy, and a number of board members and representatives of national clubs, in addition to a number of players from the national teams.
The meet, which was held at the Bahrain National Stadium yesterday evening (Monday), witnessed the presence of a number of talented players who underwent a series of technical tests in the long jump, 60-meter hurdles, 150-meter hurdles, 200-meter hurdles and 600-meter hurdles competitions under the supervision of the Technical Director of Talents, Tarek Kasai, and a number of members of the technical and administrative staff of the academy.
At the end of the forum, a group of talented male and female players were honored in recognition of their efforts and perseverance and according to their results in the tests prepared for them.
On this occasion, Khalid Al Doseri expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the President of the Bahrain Athletics Association for his continuous support for talented people through the Faisal Bin Khalid Talent Academy, which is a new starting point to upgrade this program, which has received all the care and attention from the Association over the past years, to now start a new phase after its transformation into an academy that adopts a number of technical programs and activities based on scientific foundations, in order to graduate a group of male and female players capable of representing the national teams in the future.
Al Doseri expressed his great pleasure in holding the first forum of the Academy for talented people, stressing the importance of making more efforts to enhance the role of the Academy and strengthen its position in the arena of the mother of games, expand the base of participants, strengthen partnerships with various relevant parties and adopt many new initiatives that contribute to achieving positive outcomes for the Academy, wishing all talented men and women success and success.
